Panteria XV

After 14 years in the northern reaches of Panther Vale, Panteria XV moved to a new location in order to better accommodate the King's and Queen's Equestrian Championships.

Panteria was held at Camp Farnsworth, a Girl Scout Camp on Lake Abenaki in Thetford, Vermont and we hope to return for the next several years.  The Camp has three riding rings with a stable with 12 or more stalls, a large dining hall, composting and flush toilets, many camp type tents and shelters with bunks (including a couple of tree tents), a dozen or more hot showers,  and several large areas suitable for erecting your personal pavillion.

Panteria was, as usual, a gathering of fighters, archers, and artisans for a long weekend of feasting, fighting, kids games, carousing and competing, fencing, story-telling, singing, equestrian and merchanting, and generally a rollicking good time.

Their Royal Majesties Edward and Margarete held Court to announce and recognize all sorts of AoAsand other awards,  and to recognize the new King's and Queen's Equestrian Champions.

Panteria XIII

We return once again to the secluded Caledonian Mountains of Panther Vale, where fighters, archers, and artisans came together for a long weekend of feasting, fighting, carousing and competing, fencing and story-telling, equestrian and merchanting, and a rollicking good time. Fire dancers lit up the night, knife and axe throwers tried to free the thief, the rain came down in torrents and the youth went to woods combat.

Look for Archery, Thrown Weapons, Fighting, Melee Movies, Fire Dancing, and Youth Combat.

Their Royal Majesties Griffith and Aikaterine held Court to announce and recognize all sorts of AoAs, a King's Order of Excellence, me! and even gave tokens to a whole bunch of folks who were attending their first event. The scribes of Panther Vale, led by Lady Isabel presented them with illuminated scroll-blanks and Their Majesties returned one of them to her.

Look for Archery, Courts, Fighting, Melee Movies, a Wedding! and Youth Combat.

We return once again to the secluded Caledonian Mountains of Panther Vale, where fighters, archers, and artisans came together for a long weekend of feasting, fighting, carousing and competing, fencing and story-telling, equestrian and merchanting, and a rollicking good time. Little bears rode the helms of fighters in the Johan Avon Traubenberg Memorial Tournament, knife and axe throwers tried to free the thief and Sir Thorson helped the equestrians reenact the Battle of Hastings.

Their Royal Majesties Brion and Anna held Court to announce and recognize a Pelican, a Silver Crescent, a Youth Marshall, several Awards of Arms, a Queen's Order of Courtesy and a Maunche. They received gifts of fabric and illuminated scroll-blanks and all assembled enjoyed the Chaucerian fable as retold by the King's Bard, Lady Chiara da Montepulciano.

Look for Archery, Portraits and Passers-by, Melee, a Resurrection Woods Battle, Equestrian Battle of Hastings, Tournament, Youth Combat.

Panteria X
On our return to the secluded Caledonian Mountains of Panther Vale, we found fighters, archers, and artisans who came together to celebrate King Kelson and Queen Guenvieve and meet for feasting, fighting, carousing and competing, fencing and story-telling, and a rollicking good time. Tearlach took a new squire, the Peerage worked on their Stupid Peer Tricks, Eol put on a Feast to remember, and the equestrians stayed home in fear of rain. (Someone please tell them that listening to the Boston tv stations for northern Vermont Weather is just plain silly.)

Look for Archery, Portraits and Passers-by, Melee, a Resurrection Woods Battle, Tearlach Takes a New Squire, Dance, Stupid Peer Tricks, and see Who Can Wear This and Strut.

Panteria IX
In the secluded Caledonian Mountains, we all came together to celebrate His Highness Sir Thorvald Halvorsen and meet for a long weekend of feasting, fighting, carousing and competing, fencing and story-telling, and a Wheel of Weapons Good Time. My Lords and Ladies, enjoy the fruits of my labor.
